If my Acolyte of Pain has Divine Shield, will I still draw a card?

I wanted to try it in an arena game, but wasn't sure and can't find anything on Google. Will I still draw a card if my Acolyte of Pain has divine shield and attacks/gets attacked?

  • Think about it... Does the acolyte take any damage with divine shield? the divine shield takes the damage, not the minion.

No, you will not get a card draw because he will not take any damage due to the divine shield absorbing it.
