How do I get through the infinite woods?

The infinite forest is just looping over and over again. Is there something I'm missing?

There are black/gray/white lines across each path that you can go. Use the INFO_OPACITY artifact and change it's value to 10%. If it's too high, all you will see is black lines. With it at 10%, some of the lines will be lighter than others. Follow the lighter lines.
