Evoland is a great game and a great concept. Showing the journey of videogames to what they are now. They were able to have this play in a fun way with a mix of many different genres. I have replayed this many times and it is always as fun trying to collect all the cards you missed. This is a game you need to play.
The story was both very simple but still very fun and reminiscent of many games. You are a hero sent to free this land as well as upgrade it through videogame history.
All the mini-jokes and references to video games past and present made this game all the worthwhile.
The soundtrack was a mix of past and present sounds. It had a feeling of something new but still reminiscent of things in the past.
The sound effects are just like the music, new but reminiscent of the past.Epic
Great game, epic puzzles and fun boss battles. My only problem was there were a couple moments where I was not sure where to go, but still a great game.
The puzzles were fantastic and reminded me of the puzzles in games such as pokemon and LoZ while still featuring a modern touch.
exactly what it need to be though sometimes my mouse messed up with it.
Exactly what it needed to be.A bit annoying some of the random encounters though.
The game was at a good difficulty level except for the final boss who was a bit harder then it seemed like he should be.
Even though it was confined to a "small" area it still felt like I could go anywhere.
The quests were fun and reminiscent of old games, sometimes a little too reminiscent of their problems as well.
This game was well worth the 15/20 dollars I payed for it.It was better than a lot of sixty dollar games I have bought.
What it needed to be.
What it needed to be but it also had a animation style that made it even better.
It had replay value in that even though you were doing something very similar, you still felt like you were doing something different, as well you could collect the cards for the card game and battle other monsters.
The achievements were funny and self referential as well as giving a feeling of accomplishment for doing something minor.
An epic game that is a must play for everyone. You will enjoy the references and gameplay weather you are a veteran video gamer or a new one

Developer Spotlight: Sean HoganSoundtracks can be one of the largest components of a game that the player takes with them after they complete it. Those songs can remind us of the things we experienced while playing, and they're all such wonderful memories.
