On the Vanus Unleashed Quest, how do I use the essence extractor?
I have the essence extractor for the Vanus Unleashed quest and can't seem to figure out how to use it. I don't have persuade/intimidate and I don't feel like paying the 333 gold for the last one. Is there any way to complete Vanus Unleashed without the skills and gold?

Like
After you get the essence extractor, you can use it by standing further back from the Soul Shriven. If you're up too close, the talk to X action will appear, but if you take a few steps back, you will be able to use the essence extractor.
