How can I kill the fishpeople that attack my colonists?

It seems like they don't fight back! I've had quite a few of my colonists killed by the fish people.

After playing a little bit, I figured out a few decent strategies for dealing with their threat:

  1. Use the "Rally" command. Unfortunately with the current earliest access this means bringing all of your military units to the rally point, making everywhere else vulnerable to other threats.

  2. Set up a patrol around nearby bodies of water.

Hopefully in the future they will allow us to position guards at certain locations or command only a single group of units to rally.
