Amnesia: The Dark Descent is so much better than A Machine for Pigs. The story, atmosphere, how scary it was all greatly exceeded A Machine for Pigs. These games are very similar, though. I mean, they're both named 'Amnesia', but the original(The Dark Descent) would have been hard to beat no matter what. I still liked A Machine for Pigs for what it was, it just didn't live up to the high expectations I had after playing the masterpiece that came before it.
If you haven't played Amnesia: The Dark Descent and like horror games, buy it now.
